PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AND CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. BY BOOKING A SESSION, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO POWERS TEST PREP'S TERMS & CONDITIONS AND PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY OF THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OR PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DISCONTINUE USE OF THE WEBSITE AND MY SERVICES.

1. Sessions are conducted at the rate of $300/hr, in 60- or 90-minute increments.

2. By default, sessions are conducted on-line via meeting software - Google Meet, Zoom, etc. At my discretion, I may accommodate requests for in-person tutoring by offering to meet at certain select public locations in Arlington, MA. I do not offer in-home tutoring at this time.

3. All sessions should be booked via PTP's website scheduling page ("Book A Session"), at least 72 hours in advance. Exceptions to that rule may be granted on a case-by-case basis, by e-mailing me via the website's "Contact Me" form. Urgent requests - those made with less than 24 hours notice - will incur an additional $100 rush fee.

4. Cancellation requests made 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled session will incur no fee. If a customer fails to provide at least 24 hours of advance notice before canceling or re-scheduling a lesson, the customer will be charged for ONE HOUR of session time However, if PTP is "stood up" or canceled upon within one hour of the lesson start time, the customer will be charged for the full planned duration of the session.

5. Similarly, if I fail to provide at least 24 hours of advance notice, the customer's account will be credited with the balance of the lesson plus ONE FREE HOUR of tutoring.

6. Re-scheduling requests will be considered as two separate requests: a) a cancellation request, and b) a booking request. As such, they are subject to the same cancellation / booking policies, and fees will apply where necessary.

7. My normal working hours are 10:00-8:00 (EST), Monday-Sunday. That said, I work with clients from all over the world, so I often do accommodate session times outside of that window. Depending on the details of the request, an "after-hours" fee of $100 may apply, which I will specify prior to the session being booked.

8. I offer on-line scheduling and credit card payment for simplicity of booking and convenience. At my discretion, I may accept alternative forms of payment like PayPal, Venmo, etc. I do not accept personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks, or cash. Regardless of the form, payment must be made in full prior to the scheduled session time.

9. I make no representation of numerical guarantees with regard to your score. However, I can guarantee that you will be satisfied with my service, and will work with you to find an amenable solution if you are not.

10. PTP holds the copyright on all of its instructional materials, and it is strictly forbidden to disseminate or resell any of PTP's proprietary materials. In the event that you are left with proprietary materials from a tutoring session(s), they may only be used personally.

11. PTP has the right to terminate tutoring services to any client at any time.

Powers Test Prep Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to me. Below is the privacy policy that governs the way I collect and use your information. If you have any concerns about this policy, please feel free to e-mail me either via the "Contact Me" form on the website or directly at jp@powerstestprep.com, prior to signing up.

1. I will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.

2. I will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

3. I may collect contact information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number.

4. I may collect tutoring-related information such as student name, subjects in which assistance is desired, learning preference of students, school.

5. I may collect billing information such as credit card number and billing address.

6. I may collect other, identifying information from you such as user name, account number, password.

7. I may also collect demographic information such as age, education, gender, interests and zip code.

I use this information to do the following: respond to and provide the highest quality possible tutoring services to you; send you confirmation of receipt of tutoring services; send you specific marketing communications on a reasonable time frame (no spam); respond to your questions and concerns; improve my website and marketing efforts; and conduct general research and analysis.

I do not sell, rent, lease, or give your personal information to third parties, unless in the specific cases identified below. I will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by me and for other compatible purposes, unless I obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law; if Powers Test Prep is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on my Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

I may update this privacy statement to reflect changes to my information practices. If I make any material changes, I will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. I encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
